Meet Megan, one of the Founder Leaders of the Carlo Acutis Association.

What inspired you to become involved with the Carlo Acutis Association?

“I’ve been helping with our youth group for just over a year, and it has been such a blessing to be part of the children’s faith journey. We begin with prayer, spend time together through games and activities, and finish with prayer again. Seeing the joy on their faces has shown me that growing closer to God can be both meaningful and enjoyable.

That inspired me to become involved with CAA because I want other young people to experience that same joy. I believe faith should be something children genuinely look forward to, and I want to help create places where they can grow closer to God while having fun together.”

What’s been your favourite moment so far?

“Although I’ve only been part of the Association for a short time, I love reading the updates from our leaders as new youth groups begin. It’s so encouraging to see how God is working through the CAA to help more young people grow in their faith. Watching new groups flourish makes me even more excited to be part of this mission.”

What would you say to a young person thinking about coming along for the first time?

“Come and join us, you’ll have a great time! You’ll make new friends, have lots of fun and learn more about your faith in a way that’s enjoyable. After your first session, you’ll probably be telling all your friends how much you enjoyed it, and they’ll want to come with you next time too!”
